UMITAN RS / G CONC. LIQ. retanning is a special chrome leather. Its special tanning action allows a full leather, without altering the fineness of the flower. It is viscous, but well pourable and easy to be diluted by the addition of hot water. The product is sensitive to acids and pH values of less than 3 may precipitate; can be only partially mixed with cationic products (eg: mineral tanning). With synthetic and vegetable tanning agents, fatty licker, sulphited, anionic dyes and other anionic products, UMITAN RS / G CONC. does not give rise to any problem in the usual concentrations of use, provided that the pH does not drop below the limit mentioned. In the re-tanning UMITAN RS / G CONC. Gives fullness to the leather without affecting the fineness and firmness of the flower and acts in such a way that even the typical character of the leather chrome, remains unchanged, even if they are still needed synthetic vegetable re-tanning . UMITAN RS / G CONC. is solid to light and provides uniform dyes and slightly cloudy. To hide a light color, with white tanning, you get an even higher degree of whiteness.
